The HR Manager for DLL France and AGCO Finance France acts as a true business partner to our management teams as well as to our international colleagues. The HR Manager requires an absolute focus on business challenges and the connected people management aspects in order to successfully drive the people agenda. This role is a voting member of of AGCO Finance Management Teams, reports hierarchically to the French General Manager AGCO Finance. The role is responsible for managing the HR team and a total member population of 200 members, based in La Défense Paris and Beauvais.

Day to Day:

Pro-actively contribute to the strategic goals of the French Management teams to be a high performing and networked organisation, through development and management of (local and global) HR change plans, policies, tools and processes in order to realize an optimal fit now and in the future between those business goals and the quantitative and qualitative personnel requirement

  • Final functional responsibility for all HR matters in the country AGCO Finance France and DLL France.
  • Functionally leads a team of HR assistants, HR Business Partner and an HR Manager.
  • Ensures compliance with French labour laws, preparing and presenting HR-related documentation, facilitating constructive dialogue between management and employee representatives, and supporting negotiations on organizational changes, working conditions, and employee welfare.
  • Possesses experience in strategic change management and business transformation as upcoming projects include changing the payroll provider and transitioning to a new HR system.
  • Translate business strategy into a talent (workforce) and/or culture (workplace) set of initiatives (e.g. linked with engagement survey follow-up).
  • Has an innovative look to HR contributing to the further development of the local HR function, and confident to contribute to organizational development strategy on a global level.
  • Focus as change champion not only to initiate change but also sustain change on the individual as well as on the organizational level.
  • Develops a local HR plan, translating the global and European HR strategy into aligned actions and projects for assigned local issues in order to give effective direction to the realization of defined goals.
  • Delivers the HR processes in a control and compliance environment, according to our local and global regulatory requirements.

Essentials:

In order to successfully respond to the challenges of the role, the ideal candidate should exhibit or possess the following characteristics and experience:

  • Master’s degree in human resources and/or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 -10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Depth of experience in generalist activities including organizational and leadership development, talent management, reward & recognition, change management and HR operations.
  • Good labour law knowledge and experience working with employee representatives.
  • Experience in strategic change management and business transformation
  • Strong business and commercial acumen - Knows how to create added value to the business, understands what drives business revenue and customer’s perspectives and can demonstrate a clear link to HR Strategy.
  • International orientation through preferably having already worked within an international organisation.
