Asset Manager - LifeTech

As an Asset Manager you will be responsible for end of term management activities, and handling day-to-day transactional activities across various DLL business segments and a diverse range of assets. This will include both those that have “standardised” end of term methodologies and those that are open to a fair market value approach to maximizing income for DLL. You will coordinate and monitor end of lease activities in a way which maximizes the profit, while promoting DLL’s value proposition (Life Cycle Asset Management) of additional services and generating other income. This role will require you to work closely with DLL Sales, Finance, Operations, vendor partners and clients direct.  It is a key income generating position based on defined processes.

You will be based in Sydney and report directly to the Head of Asset Management ANZ LifeTech.

Day to day

  • Build strong relationships with assigned vendor programs and internal DLL colleagues in support of the asset refresh objective
  • Proactively manage contract activity from notification of client/partner intentions through to asset disposal and contract finalisation
  • Review contracted assets data in preparation for end of term activity
  • Assess RV request submissions, and prepare a summary for delegated authority review
  • Support and manage requests for valuation of assets at various times through the asset lifecycle
  • Centrally maintain and track valuation requests, RV assessment, asset intelligence, remarketing submissions/outcomes for future reference
  • Liaise with internal departments, Sales, C&R, Operations, Finance to ensure contracts are effectively managed and finalised
  • Prepare periodic Asset Management and Remarketing reports in support of EOT activities and portfolio management
  • Complete periodic post-settlement residual value audit checks
  • Support the head of Asset Management ANZ LifeTech and Global Asset Management with special projects and initiatives that add business value

Essentials

  • Ideally 3-5 years of experience in Asset Finance in Australia or New Zealand
  • Able to inspire, engage and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge of drivers which impact client decisions, assets valuations
  • Quality driven, results oriented, with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter with strong networking and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong MS Excel proficiency and sound MS Office applications understanding
