As a Digital Docs Agile Engineer you would be responsible for delivering innovative solutions for an enterprise-wide document generation and management system along with accelerating our digital transformation thru the modernization of our document process flow. This is a hands-on development role focused on business value delivery utilizing Agile/SCRUM. The ideal candidate for this role would have hands-on experience designing and building document templates leveraging document generation applications; enable electronic signature functionality via DocuSign; build web applications, APIs and services for document related features as well as streamline our document process flow.

In this role you will be part of the North America Digital Documents Team that is responsible for delivering document lifecycle focused products and digital document solutions for our leasing business. You will be an integral member of an environment that will transform our business thru automating and digitizing our core processes while delivering efficiencies and enhancing our customer experience. As such, this position requires someone who is self-driven, has excellent communications skills (verbal and written), who works well under pressure and can effectively work with disparate teams throughout a diverse business community. This role is also requiring someone with visionary thinking abilities, has the capacity to learn new technologies and drive innovative solutions impacting multiple applications in the landscape.

This position requires basic working knowledge of scrum/agile methodology.

Day to day

Day to day

  • Full development life cycle involvement including requirements review, application design, configuration, and development of scalable solutions to enhance workflows and business processes impacting multiple systems.
  • Build and maintain APIs that are for internal and external exposure.
  • Develop and maintain document templates
  • Digitize document process and enable electronic signature
  • Work on products that are built in Agile and DevOps delivery model.
  • Handling maintenance and technical support on major and minor bug fixes and other issues
  • Perform tests locally as well as in an integrated, distributed environment. Test Automation experience is a definite help.
  • Participate in technical design process model, monitoring and reporting components, task and service implementations, work management, process start and control, event handling, integration components, work assignment, user access and security components, and versioning approach
  • Work with Product Owners, key business stakeholders and cross-functional development team to support business value delivery
  • Work remotely while collaborating with virtual team across the globe
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help improve the development process and business value delivery

Essentials

Essentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
  • Strong understanding of document management concepts & development
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience in building APIs and supporting back-end services with Relational DB or/and NoSQL DB.
  • Experience in various API technologies such as Java, Java Script, Node.JS, Typescript, etc
  • Experience working with third-party APIs (DocuSign APIs, SmartCOMM APIs a plus)
  • Experience in the development and deployment of serverless applications in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with cloud-based API Management / Gateway offerings
  • Background in microservices architecture, Java based applications and RESTful web services
  • Experience using Azure DevOps toolkits
  • Successful application of business analysis skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders and users
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
  • Willing to learn and work in a highly adaptable to a continuously changing environment
  • Able to give and receive open, honest feedback and to foster a highly collaborative environment with a virtual team
  • Possible Travel (10%)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in SmartCOMM Suite of Products Data Modeler, Advanced Template Designer and Web Editor/Dashboard
  • Sound knowledge in generating Interactive communications (Draft Editor, Data Capture, iPDF's)
  • Should be well versed with preparation of the XML/JSON data schema and their mapping to business data
  • Experience with or knowledge of Agile Development methodologies (SAFe is a plus)
  • Experience within financial services is a plus
