Day to day
- Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
- Design and deploy Windows-based infrastructure solutions.
- Implement automation scripts for deployment (Infra as code), monitoring, and maintenance.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
- System Administration:
- Manage and maintain our virtualization platforms, servers, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Infrastructure coding
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work with development teams to optimize application performance on Windows platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices.
- Automation and Scripting:
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible.
- ServiceNow workflows
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
- Automated Event driven Operations.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents.

Essentials
- A bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience within IT Infrastructure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware).
- 3+ years of coding experience
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure Services
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- Excellent Infra coding skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- BMC Control-M Workload Automation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Ansible
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow
- BMC Control-M experience
