Corporate Communications Intern
About the Role:
As a Corporate Communications Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the communications team in delivering impactful internal and external messaging. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in corporate storytelling, employee engagement, and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and editing internal newsletters, announcements, and event communications
- Support the creation of content for social media, press releases, blog posts, and thought leadership articles
- Conduct research to inform communication campaigns and media outreach strategies
- Help coordinate and promote internal events, town halls, and employee engagement initiatives
- Contribute to the development of presentations and other communication materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment

Day to Day
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to group initiatives
- Draft social media posts in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team
- Create and manage the weekly U.S. employee newsletter
- Research and write articles for the corporate intranet
- Compile daily media monitoring reports
- Assist in developing thought leadership content for internal and external audiences
- Prepare media lists and conduct targeted press outreach
Essentials
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Junior or senior standing (minimum 60 credit hours completed)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with AP Style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience managing or contributing to social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Applicable pay range
$17-$20 per hour (undergrad) / $21-$23 per hour (Post Grad/Masters)
