New Business Development Manager Europe – Food + Agriculture

As a New Business Development Manager Europe F&A you will be responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, coordination, and deliverables associated with all activities around New Business Development F&A Europe. Identify new business opportunities and establishing new relationships as well as growing existing partnerships. Support local sales teams and create a strong cooperation within the countries to maximize DLL´s position for Retail and Commercial Finance Business. Execution based on F&A policies and within the Global Business Unit Mid Term Plan, New Business Development strategy and plan, to realize the formulated business objectives on new business volume and new partner/vendor profitability. You will do this by interacting with diverse internal stakeholders (local, international).

Day to day:

  • Drive sales and New Business Development activities to win new partnerships.
  • Own acquisition and identification of potential business relationships.
  • Co-ordinate with program management on expansion of existing partnerships at Vendor and Dealer level.
  • Structuring of complex financing models taking legal, tax and risk related aspects into account.
  • Work closely with RSM and Country Sales Managers and local country teams to achieve aligned goals.
  • Focus on agreed GBU strategic areas including Food, Agriculture, Sustainability and Food Transition.
  • Ensure close contact and ongoing involvement with Marketing and Market Intelligence teams.
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the prospects pipeline as well as the performance of existing relationships in line with the sales plan, to achieve targets. Provide regular updates to all stakeholders as required.
  • Based on thorough market analysis and internal business intelligence you will identify Vendor / Dealer’s needs, prepare and present studies for market development and new business initiatives and implement approved plans by ensuring appropriate input and collaboration across all relevant areas.
  • Build up trusting work relationships internally and externally with local Vendors/Dealers to guarantee smooth communication and integration of applicable products.
  • Core contact for F&A NBD in Europe.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or other related degree.
  • Extensive work and sales experience in the Retail and/or Commercial Finance business.
  • Profound market knowledge as well as a high expertise in a variety of financial service models.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English is necessary.
  • Insights in local dealer organization structure, distribution channels and vendor agreements.
  • Experienced in Coordination between, and alignment with, multiple functions and multiple parties to structure new programs.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the DLL Group and its products and services (Leasing and Commercial Finance).
  • High willingness to travel (if applicable).
