Global Head of Strategy and Marketing FA&O
As the Head of Strategy and Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of our Food, Agriculture & Outdoor (FA&O) Global Business Unit within DLL, by driving the initiatives with the highest priority that impact the GBU, as well as leading the strategic marketing, digital transformation, and customer experience agenda.
You will be instrumental in horizon-scanning the market, developing and implementing new customer value propositions, marketing strategies, optimizing digital channel interactions, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the customer journey.
As a global management team member and senior leader in the organization, this position requires: a strategic and visionary mindset, capacity to strong marketing acumen, strong global acumen, deep understanding of digital technologies, customer-centric approaches, an eye for the future, and business-minded, revenue driving approaches to marketing.
To be successful, the candidate will need to develop strong relationships with the leadership team of FA&O, and work closely with the Global Head of the GBU.
In addition, this individual will need to collaborate effectively with DLL colleagues within the F,A&O GBU, corporate functions (strategy office, M&A) and other CCO Marketing and Strategy teams

Day to Day
Identify and Drive the GBU strategic initiatives
- Drive the development of GBU Strategy in alignment with DLL global strategy and established priorities
- Lead specific initiatives as designated, or collaborate on other initiatives as key contributor
- Project coordinator/contributor to various management of key initiatives, dashboard, status updates and associated budget.
- Drive and/or support change management initiatives.
Strategic Marketing
- Lead and champion the strategic marketing agenda across the FA&O GBU, developing and implementing impactful marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, market penetration, and customer engagement.
- With finance and commercial domain, manage a global marketing and commercialization budget, year-over-year.
- Leverage DLL portfolio and performance data to unlock valuable insights for partners and internal teams, in line with compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Steer the research, design, and development of competitive value propositions, including product offerings, service levels, etc.
- Develop global events & trade show strategy.
Digital Transformation:
- Drive the digital transformation roadmap within the GBU, leveraging technology and data to optimize customer journeys, improve operational efficiencies, and create innovative value propositions for our clients.
- Co-create an impact assessment for proper prioritization and results tracking initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Enhancement:
- Set and drive the customer contact, experience and loyalty agenda for the business unit while working cross-functionally to execute.
- Design customer-centric strategies and initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and manage a high-performing global marketing team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the marketing organization.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and encourage professional development among team members.
- Manage and guide the execution and delivery of GBU marketing assets and commercial content.

- Execution of the strategic projects in the portfolio in line with objectives
- Efficiency of the marketing operation globally

Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in strategy development, project delivery, strategic marketing, digital marketing, and customer experience roles, preferably in a global organization.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives and leveraging data and analytics to drive marketing decisions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization and scheduling skills and practices.
- Requirement for material European travel.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- High level of interactive, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicable Pay Range
$181,786.40- $272,679.60
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
