Operations Head of Sales & Marketing

Head of Sales and Marketing Vendor Finance Benelux

As the Head of Sales and Marketing VF Benelux. You will lead and manage a large and complex commercial organization representing all GBUs and Marketing for Benelux with a strong growth trajectory, whereby you are representing all business lines in the Benelux Leadership Team and work closely with the RSMs of the GBUs to translate and align the GBU strategies in local strategies and execute these successfully and drive a high-performance culture.

The Head of Sales and Marketing Vendor Finance Benelux will report directly to the General Manager Benelux.

Day to day:

As an active member of the management team, you would partner with colleagues and contribute to the successful creation and execution of the strategy and business plan.

  • (Functionally) Lead a team of Country Sales Manager and the Head of Marketing to manage business relationships, sales activities and growth of the business in Benelux in a sustainable and profitable way.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the market DREAM plans for the Benelux.
  • Identify/cultivate new local sales opportunities in co-operation with vendor/partner/dealer and the Country organizations.
  • Ensure portfolio analysis in the countries and liaise on business intelligence with NBD and Program Management
  • Define and implement a sales strategy, plan, and targets, within boundaries of GBU strategies, to give systematic direction to and control over sales and business relationship activities.
  • Identify market trends, portfolio developments & sales opportunities, in cooperation with internal/external stakeholders to assure strategic sales and program alignment with market demands.
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the sales organization to achieve the GBU sales targets on P&L, NBV, portfolio, margin and risk costs.
  • Contribute to the implementation of programs and follow up with the management and execution of applications of programs, in line with program agreements, to optimize penetration, program P&L and customer/vendor/partner satisfaction. Increase penetration and conversion rate.
  • Cooperate and work closely together with the other MT members, stimulate alignment and cooperation with the country organizations to create conditions for cost-effective, speedy, and high-quality service levels for our customers and partners.

Essentials:

  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in an international environment and matrix setting
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial management experience
  • Experience communicating complex information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience leading large teams of intercultural professionals
  • Ability to influence management decisions
  • Excellent influencing, persuasion, and collaboration skills on all levels within the organization
  • Track record inspiring and bringing a team to the next level
  • Experience driving customer focus initiatives
  • Digital savvy
