Operations / Support Manager

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Operations and Support Manager to lead day-to-day support operations across our enterprise technology stack. This role is responsible for managing and resolving trouble tickets, responding to customer requests, and ensuring the stability and performance of systems including PL/SQL Applications, Oracle, MongoDB, Control-M job scheduling, Windows and Unix patch management and Azure Cloud management. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality support and continuous service improvement.

Day to Day

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support related to PL/SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Control-M, and Azure environments.
  • Monitor and respond to incoming trouble tickets, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PL/SQL code, database performance, job scheduling, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize Control-M job flows, including job failures, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide operational support for Oracle and MongoDB databases, including backups, restores, and performance tuning.
  • Maintain and monitor Azure cloud resources, ensuring availability, cost-efficiency, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Document support procedures, resolutions, and system configurations for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions or automation opportunities.

Essentials

  • 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development and Oracle database support.
  • Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB administration and support.
  • Experience managing and supporting Azure cloud services in a production environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve technical support tickets efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with Node.js, Vue.js, and React.js is a differentiator.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Oracle, MongoDB, Azure, or ITIL are a plus.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
  • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps support environments.

Applicable Pay Range

$106.773,60 - $160.160,40

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
