IT CCO Engineering Lead Customer Engagement
As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coaching agile teams in architecting, designing, building, and delivering business applications for the CCO Commercial Finance Domain. This is a hands-on leadership role, encompassing complete SDLC responsibilities, including definition, architecture design, development, testing, delivery, and support. You will also drive continuous improvement in delivering innovative, complex, and large-scale IT solutions for multiple products/systems within the CCO domain.
You will partner directly with Product Management and Business leadership in the CCO Domain to ensure that DLL’s technology platforms meet evolving customer needs. Leading one or more Agile delivery teams, you will ensure team success by coaching them to size, manage scope, design optimal technical solutions, and identify and mitigate technical risks. Additionally, you will work with your team members to help them develop and achieve their personal and organizational career goals.

Day to day:

Lead the definition, architecture design, development, testing, delivery, and support of business applications using one or more development platforms/applications in the IT-CCO Domain.
- Serve as a lead member of the Solution Architecture and Engineering team, driving decisions on business applications and components required for generating business value.
- Act as a hands-on member of the Agile team to architect, design, develop, and test software applications.
- Validate that technical solutions can be practically executed, properly integrated with the existing application portfolio, and aligned with enterprise strategies and roadmaps.
- Partner with Product Owners and other cross-functional development teams to support business value delivery.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement through participation in the agile development process.
- Solve complex business issues by applying innovative technical solutions for escalated and high-priority issues.
- Plan and integrate the work activities of hybrid-working IT teams.
- Collaborate with Business and IT leaders to convert needs into outcomes.

Essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Information Technology experience in one or more development platforms/applications, industry-specific custom applications, and other development frameworks & technologies.
- Extensive technology experience and skills in one or more development platforms/business applications such as Azure, API, Portal Applications, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Pega.
- Experience with other industry-specific custom applications, related development frameworks, and technologies.
- 5+ years of experience within the financial services and/or leasing industry (highly desirable).
- Successful track record of IT project delivery and lifecycle management with demonstrated business results.
- Experience leading technology teams of 5-15 members with diverse technology experience and skills.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of enterprise software patterns and how they may be leveraged with diverse technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAFe/scrum/agile methodology and framework.
- In-depth understanding of IT processes and supporting technologies, and how these technologies integrate within projects and existing environments.
- Understanding of DevOps and Cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with the following technologies
- Oracle DB
- Azure Cloud Services
- Power BI
- Pega
- While supporting phase out of legacy technologies
- Oracle Forms
- Java
