Position Summary:

It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to identify and pursue sales opportunities and build strong commercial relationships by telephone with appointed AGCO dealerships, in line with vendor agreement and sales plan, in order to realize the formulated sales objectives on penetration rate, new business volume and shareholder profitability.

This is a bilingual French role to support dealers in Quebec, Canada.

Day to Day

  • Effectively manage multiple relationships with dealership personnel and Field Staff within an assigned territory
  • Professionally manage and efficiently process multiple sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service and ensuring dealers’ expectations are being both managed and exceeded
  • Contribute to the country market, sales plan, and targets within boundaries of AGCO Finance’s strategy and vendor agreements
  • Readily assist dealership personnel and field staff whenever possible to contribute to sales goals
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities in cooperation with dealer and field staff
  • Follow up on sales and fee opportunities resulting from portfolio analysis
  • Call dealer relations and prospect dealers and bring to attention the vendor program opportunities and originate quote requests
  • Generate and distribute quote proposals to dealers and partners
  • Support dealers and partners in their business activities
  • Manage business relationship with dealers in order to increase business, income and profitability in the short and long term while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
  • Decide on end-user credit applications within a given authority level in order to support AGCO Finance in achieving their expected loss targets
  • Analyze and understand relevant market
  • Identify market segments and target opportunities

Essentials

  • Bachelor’s Degree, an emphasis in business is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Positive attitude, professionalism and personal integrity
  • High energy, enthusiasm, motivation to learn and drive for success
  • Strong ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly make accountable decisions and effectively communicate those decisions in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Ability to interact well with others is critical to success in this role. Candidate must be able to work well within a high performing team environment, as well as working well with dealer staff and field staff to achieve common goals

Applicable pay range

$63,372.00 - $95,058.00

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
