Legal Department Intern

As a Legal Department Intern, you will be part of Group Legal department based in Eindhoven, assisting the Paralegal team with daily activities and/or projects. The Paralegal team is managed by the Legal Operations Manager and is responsible for supporting the Legal Counsels of the department, as well as other internal stakeholders, with the processing and filing of different legal documents, including power of attorney, commercial agreements, non-disclosure agreements and meeting minutes. For this, you will become acquainted with tools such as SharePoint, DocuSign and Microsoft Office apps. In addition, you may support Group Legal with reporting activities every quarter end.

Day to day:

As an intern within our Legal Commercial Transactions Team, your role encompasses a mix of administrative duties and documentation review. Here’s an overview of your day-to-day tasks:

  • Document Sign-Off Coordination: You’ll support the end-stage review and sign-off processes for multiple documents (such as contracts, NDAs, and Powers of Attorney), guiding stakeholders through internal approvals and ensuring all required signatures are obtained.
  • Contract Database Management: Your responsibilities include filing business agreements in the contract database and monitoring renewals and amendments.
  • General Administrative Support: You’ll provide assistance to team members as needed, handling various projects and tasks.

Essentials:

  • Master student (law), preferably with a specialization in corporate law and/or commercial law.
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to come to the Eindhoven office at least twice a week for handling paperwork and connecting with team members.

  • Hands-on mentality, able to understand and follow pre-established processes and procedures;
  • Good attention to detail to be able to carefully analyze files and data;
  • Office administrative skills for tasks such as filing, typing and writing;
  • Good teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work in a structured and organized manner;
  • Proactive and independent.

Compensations:

The internship will start in February. You will receive an internship allowance of €350 - €500 gross per month, based on your educational level and 38 hours a week. If you work less, this amount will be prorated.
