As Transformation Lead Benelux, you will be part of the Benelux Management Team, reporting to the General Manager Benelux and with a dotted line to our Group Transformation Lead Europe. As Transformation Lead Benelux, you will lead the local transformation initiatives within the Benelux region, owning the orchestration and execution of the Benelux transformation roadmap and ensuring alignment with regional and global transformation roadmaps of DLL. This role involves driving change management, overseeing project implementation, and collaborating with various departments to achieve business transformation objectives. In addition, the Transformation Lead Benelux is also responsible for the digital transformation of the Benelux organization, including all aspects of transitioning from analogue to digital way of doing business.

Day to day:

  • Develop and implement transformation strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes setting clear priorities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the adoption of new practices and processes. This involves orchestrating the local transformation plan, communicating the vision, addressing resistance, and ensuring stakeholders are on board.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including the local management team, local, regional and global members of DLL and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for transformation efforts.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of transformation initiatives. This includes tracking the local transformation plan and its key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusting as needed to stay on track.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and Operational Excellence. This involves analyzing current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions following the lean six-sigma methodology.
  • Lead and manage the Benelux transformation team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. This includes setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation initiatives. This involves conducting risk assessments, developing contingency plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure that sufficient resources, including budget and personnel, are allocated to transformation projects. This involves working closely with other departments to secure the necessary support.
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with all stakeholders. This includes providing regular updates on progress, addressing concerns, and celebrating successes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization. This involves encouraging innovative ideas, experimenting with innovative approaches, and learning from both successes and failures.

Essentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Fluent/Native level of English and Dutch.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a management-level role with experience being part of a Management Team.
  • Proven experience in leading complex transformation projects within local and/or corporate environment, including experience in strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management performance monitoring and execution, with the ability to align transformation vision with organizational goals.
  • Experience working within any Scaled Agile Framework with a desire for knowledge on the Simplify@Scale framework (a.k.a. the Spotify model).
  • Experience working in an international environment and navigating compliance, privacy, risk, legal, data privacy and information security issues.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of managing and leading teams, with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Additional information:

  • This role requires occasional travel within the Benelux region
  • The Transformation Lead Benelux will be part of the Benelux Management Team and have a dual reporting line (matrix) to the General Manager Benelux and the Group Transformation Lead Europe.
