Your function
As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Team Leader, handling deposits, payments, and month-end processes, along with general accounting duties. Your responsibilities will span the Australian, New Zealand, and Singapore regions, as well as joint venture companies, ensuring financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Day to day
- Manage daily cash allocation for retail and wholesale business, ensuring accurate and timely processing of deposits received.
- Maintain and update financial records, including cash spreadsheets, to support accounting accuracy.
- Provide help where required to process payments to vendors, suppliers and financial institutions using various banking systems
- Assist the Finance Team Leader and Financial Controller with accounts receivable tasks and other financial projects.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Collections, and Admin teams to ensure seamless allocation of funds.
- Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliation and reporting.
- Monitor and clear suspense accounts, ensuring all clearing transactions are resolved within the required timelines.
- Oversee the functional finance mailbox, responding to inquiries and managing communication efficiently.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial procedures, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Provide additional support to the team as needed, assisting with financial analysis and reporting tasks.

Your Profile
- Experience in a high-volume environment, with leasing or banking experience as an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal clients.
- Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Highly organized, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities efficiently.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts.
