Product Manager Lease 

As Product Manager Lease within DLL Benelux you will be the driving force to steer the development of a competitive product suite within the Dutch Market for the DLL brand (vendor finance) and the Rabobank brand (Banking channel).  Working closely with DLL Global and Benelux and Rabobank Retail and Wholesale your goal will be to develop the product and services strategy / roadmap in line with the identified opportunities in the Lease Rabobank commercial strategy. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the coordination and execution (DLL) of this roadmap locally. Your role will be a combination of product development and management (expanding existing financial products and services to new markets), as well as training and communication. These solutions include e.g. usage-based products (FMV), full-service lease (servitization), insurance products and new retail and commercial finance solutions. For DLL brand you will manage the full product approval process and with Rabobank you work hand in hand with the Lease owner to ensure execution of the Rabobank product roadmap.

In this role you will be part of the Lease Center of Excellence for Rabobank Group. This is a new team to oversee leasing activities for the entire Rabobank Group, supporting the growth of our leasing market share for all three pillars (DLL, Rabobank Retail and Rabobank Wholesale).

Day to day:

  • You will put together a strategic roadmap together with DLL and Rabobank teams for product & services development, this requires scoping product, asset management, legal, operational, risk, finance as well as commercial elements.
  • You will be part of a highly networked and motivated national and international (DLL) environment. You will use your creativity to develop customer relevant solutions for DLL and Rabobank.
  • You will be comfortable preparing and presenting business cases for new propositions / products and manage the approval process within DLL (legal, compliance, Risk, PARC etc) as well as communication and training together with the local network.
  • You are a driving force to work together with Rabobank Product and proposition owners to ensure that lease products are fully integrated in the journeys and customer offerings.
  • Focus on strategic project management to ensure new products are developed and implemented with timely and effective delivery.
  • Lead training & development initiatives.
  • Relationship management focusing on Sales, Marketing, IT, and e-Commerce.
  • Collaborate with Strategy to establish ongoing reports to measure product performance and adoption

  • Number of new products successfully launched.
  • Growth in the Dutch business linked to finance products and services
  • Commercial origination of NBV of new products.
  • NPS satisfaction of dealers/ customers

Essentials:

  • Master’s degree in Business Economics / Marketing or comparable degree.
  • Languages: Fluent Dutch and English
  • Professional experience: 10 to 15 years’ experience in driving product development within financial services
  • Capable of writing product plans including business cases for new products / propositions
  • Clear understanding of the Dutch Leasing market
  • Understands what it takes to be successful in a complex organizational setting where you work in 2 organizations with their own DNA (DLL and Rabobank)
